Mark Pritchard slices thru 30 years of UK street rave styles on ‘Lock Off’. Juicing the crucial bits of jungle, grime and electro sub-sonics for a 2013 rave, Pritchard is at his best, bringing the old skool ‘ardcore party with ‘1234’ starring the legendary Ragga Twins, and super rugged electro rave bounce on ‘Ghetto Blast’. The titular ‘Lock Off’ tools up with a jungle-frisked dancehall sound, but if we’re picking favourites then the Jam City-gwan-Footwork-Jungle flex of ‘Soundboy F*ck Off’ is the ONE.
