Drum and bass quartet Fourward prove why four is definitely the magic number with this moody and destructive double A-side release. Lead track ‘Foot Soldiers’ picks up where their 2014 ‘Countdown EP’ left off with punchy breaks and tearing tech-step leads. This is a no holes barred twisted banger. On the flip, ‘Tingod’ presents a dramatic build up with eerie techy instrumentals before rolling out into a powerful neurofunk groove atop a tightly filtered bass line. The breakdown and killer second drop make this track is a real secret savage.
